OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Love and Logic
- No outside food or beverages are allowed in classes held at Cabela’s. These items can be purchased at the Mesquite Grill located inside the facility.
- You may bring food and beverages to the classes held at the Grand Prairie Location. Lunch will be provided for classes held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays (Grand Prairie Location ONLY).
- Child care is not provided and sessions are not for children.
- We do not require parents to attend the class together, but we highly recommend both parties participate.
- A 10-hour certificate is provided at the end Part 2 of the Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® class and a 12-hour certificate is provided at the end of Part 6 of the 9 Essentials for the Love and Logic Classroom® workshop. To obtain a certificate you must complete all sessions. Certificates qualify for Continuing Education Hours for Social Workers, LPC, LMFT, Educators and Child Care Professionals.
- Registration is required; walk-ins are not allowed as space is limited.
- The fee for each part of the class must be paid online or via mail 24 hours in advance. Please note you are securing your seat for this class when you make your payment.
- Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® consists of two 6-hour sessions which may be taken in either order. However, we encourage you to take Part 1 first to help you better understand the material.
- The 9 Essentials of a Love and Logic Classroom® is offered in a 6-week series and registrants must attend all sessions in order to obtain a certificate.
- Fees are not refunded to participants who don’t show up and/or those who show up late. A 24 hour written email notice prior to the start of the class is required to schedule a session.
- If class size reaches maximum occupancy, registration will be closed.
- We reserve the right to cancel class due to poor weather conditions or lack of registration.
